The star of This is Us donned a vintage pink ruffled wedding dress in November 2018 while bewedding her musician husband Taylor Goldsmith at her Los Angeles home. Moore’s dress, designed by Rodarte, featured little details throughout the ensemble, such as pink dots, custom tulle, and baby’s breath details in the veil and the hairpieces.
The soft pink colors, according to Moore, were an homage to the actress’s fascination with 1970s romantic color palettes, as the blush pink dominated her wedding landscape also. Pink is a natural derivative of white for a wedding dress, and Moore pulled it off perfectly. It’s simple and elegant enough for a normal bride to wear and look like a princess on her special day.
The iconic Hollywood actress is renowned for her acting roles such as Cleopatra and her numerous husbands throughout her lifetime. Regardless, she managed to look beautiful in all her wedding ensembles. The most original dress she wore for a wedding of hers was her fourth marriage to actor Eddie Fisher, best known as the father of Carrie Fisher.
Taylor wore a long-sleeve olive green dress with a sheer hooded veil on top. The dress hit just below her knee, and it was nontraditional, to say the least. While the marriage itself was more controversial than the dress, the choice to wear that for Taylor spoke to her character of avoiding tradition, breaking stereotypes, and looking fabulous in whatever color she wanted for her wedding day.
Wearing black as your wedding gown seems so opposite! However, the actress of 90210 fame married her model boyfriend Josh Beech and pulled off a beautiful Vera Wang halter gown with lace on the back. A bold choice, but one that worked out perfectly!
